Corporate Social Responsibility

So, you may be the lucky one tasked with coming up with ideas for raising money and awareness for your companies ‘Charity of The Year'.

It's a great honour which will see the company do something special for a deserving cause.

You may already have ideas of what to do, you may have asked employees what they'd like to do and then you need to organise it.  Sounds easy?  Then you get more into it, and it becomes time consuming searching all the info up, calling and emailing people backwards and forwards.

That's where I come in.  Hello, I'm Orange John, well John Wilson but that's not as memorable let's be honest.  I am a qualified mountain leader who organises these events taking all the work off your hands, well most of it anyway.

Id never set foot on a mountain until I tried to raise £200 for Children's Cancer by doing the National Three Peaks, during this I fell in love with the mountains, found my calling, help others experience the mountains and if they wanted to raise money for their chosen charity.

So, I set up Orange John CIC to organise Three Peak Challenges, sorting the logistics, the routes, the guides, and if needed transport and accommodation.

We showcase the beauty of Ben Nevis the lovely Lake District and wonderful Wales. Or we hike in Horton around Yorkshire's three biggest mountains Whernside, Pen-Y-Ghent and Ingleborough, not just guiding and keeping clients safe but bringing the scenic landscape to life with history, film locations everyday phrases you hear but never knew where they started.

So, if you are the CSR person tasked with this year's event or you're the charity trying to come up with ideas to take to a corporate partner, let's chat about a fun and safe day(s) on the mountains.

Thanks for reading
