What inspired John to begin offering his guided events?
When his nephew was diagnosed with cancer, John started looking for ways he could raise money. Channelling his love of the outdoors into his fundraising efforts, John saw the amazing potential in helping others to experience and appreciate the natural world, whilst raising money for charity at the same time. He also recognises the wonderful benefits that walking in the outdoors can bring – not just physically but mentally. What could be better for one’s wellbeing than fresh air, exercise, and the company of like-minded individuals?
John’s commitment to his original goals remains to this day: with every event he donates to a children’s charity.
Whether you are someone who enjoys walking and hiking for leisure, or you are looking to take on the next mountain challenge, Orange John has a guided tour to suit your aims, objectives and personal requirements.
