Take on the iconic National Three Peaks Challenge. Complete the highest mountain Scotland, England and Wales has to offer in 24 hours! Participate solo, in a pair or as a group everyone is welcome. You will hike between 23 and 25 mile depending on the route we choose and ascend just over 10,000ft!! It is challenging and not to be taken lightly but can be completed by anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and a desire to succeed. Our qualified mountain leader guides will have the final say on your participation on each mountain.
Included in your challenge is if required pick up from Glasgow train station to our overnight accommodation if you wish where we have 5 rooms booked and will be shared on a same sex basis unless you are a group and comfortable sharing. Dinner is down to you to sort out. We will have an event brief and explain and check kit etc. Saturday morning, we will have an early start with breakfast included then travel a short distance to Ben Nevis The start of your adventure, from there we board the bus and go to Scafell Pike and then to Snowdon. To do this, we must stick to a decent pace and schedule, this is where the guides will if needed have the final say in participation, on the bus comfort breaks and restocking of supplies will be kept to a minimum. Once Snowdon is completed there are goody bags for all, the bus will if needed drop off at Chester train station.
We will use a ratio of 1 guide to 10 participants and may have mountain leader trainees helping so they can gain experience. We at Orange John love the mountains so will follow the trails to protect the environment from erosion and pick litter along the way.
ALL clients receive a 15% off discount code for COTSWOLD OUTDOORS and the option of PAY IN 3 with KLARNA or CLEARPAY
